PreNatal Classes in Corvallis

I'm pleased to announce that I will be teaching Childbirth classes through Samaritan Health Services (hospital) in Corvallis, Oregon, starting in October of 2021.
Parents can expect a full childbirth education class of 12 hours, with information on pregnancy, labour & birth, and the postpartum period. Expectant parents will learn about comfort measures for pregnancy, labour & birth; breastfeeding; baby calming; baby sleep patterns; and care of mother & baby during the first months after birth. Parents will also be given information on local resources, books, videos and websites.
Until Covid-19 restrictions are lifted, this class will be conducted virtually. Also, to accommodate parent's work schedules, it will be offered in two formats. One version of the class will be taught on Monday evenings over 6 consecutive weeks. The second version of the class will be taught on weekends (ie, 12 hours over one Saturday/Sunday weekend).
Registration is through Good Samaritan, and payment is arranged directly with me.
